'Last House on the Left' (1972)

Two girls looking to score drugs are abducted by a band of criminals who proceed to maim, rape and torture them before deciding to shack up with the victims’ unwitting parents. The finale of the film involves a castration-and-chainsaw revenge plan.

The movie was banned in Malaysia until the late 90s and Australia until 2004.  The UK finally released a censored version in 2002, then the uncut form in 2008.  Reportedly also banned in Singapore, Iceland, New Zealand and Norway.
