Michael Fassbender
Films: 'A Dangerous Method,' 'Shame'
Coming off a summer during which he stole the show as Magneto in 'X-Men: First Class,' Fassbender has two major pieces of Oscar bait, David Cronenberg's 'A Dangerous Method,' in which he plays no less than Sigmund Freud, and 'Shame.'
Fassbender won Best Actor at the Venice Film Festival earlier this year for his work with Mulligan in the Steve McQueen-directed film. Its NC-17 rating might make it tough to find an audience, but here's guessing it'll be worth the trouble.
Hmmm ... an NC-17 flick and a portrayal of Freud. Sex-obsessed much, Mike?
