'Hugo'

Based on the children's book by Brian Selznick, 'Hugo' is director Martin Scorsese's kids movie by way of Cahiers du Cinema. As much about film preservation and the craft of filmmaking as mystery and adventure, 'Hugo' has plenty of layers for both parents and children to enjoy.
