'Black Christmas' (1974)

'Black Christmas' was recently remade, but the original is still the best. Bob Clark directed this precursor to the Halloween series a few years before he hit pay dirt with 'A Christmas Story.' A slasher stalks a sorority house on Christmas Eve, also known as 'Silent Night, Evil Night' and 'Stranger in the House.' The ads warned "If this movie doesn't make your skin crawl, it's on too tight!"
