Who's In It?: James McAvoy, Hugh Laurie, Jim Broadbent

What's It About?: This humorous holiday tale introduces us to Santa's son, Arthur (McAvoy), who lives on the North Pole with an army of Christmas elves and, of course, his parents Santa (Broadbent) and Mrs. Claus (Imelda Staunton). Finally kids will find out just how the surprisingly techno-savvy Father Christmas can deliver billions of presents in one night.

Who Will Enjoy It?: Kids and adult Aardman Animation fans. Normally, Christmas-themed movies are a gimmicky attempt to lure reunited families to the theater on long holiday weekends. But the English animated studio Aardman is genius ('Wallace and Gromit,' 'Chicken Run'), and the cast features a who's who of adored British actors. We'll happily don a Santa hat to hear McAvoy, Nighy, Laurie say pretty much anything.
