10. Corey Stoll, 'Midnight in Paris'

Formerly best known as that guy from 'Law & Order: LA' who wasn't Skeet Ulrich, Corey Stoll stole 'Midnight in Paris' as -- spoiler -- Ernest Hemingway. Brusque, smart and rugged, Stoll turned the famed writer into a parody of masculinity and provided a great contrast to Tom Hiddleston's F. Scott Fitzgerald. A standout performer in a standout film.
