10. David Huddleston in 'Santa Claus: The Movie' (1985)

The rotund comic actor (probably better known for 'The Blig Lebowski' and 'Blazing Saddles') has the right physique and jolliness for the starring role, but he's upstaged by Dudley Moore as a misguided elf and John Lithgow as a sneering corporate villain. Ho ho-hum.
