'The Raven'

John Cusack stars as Edgar Allan Poe in a gothic thriller that turns 19th-century Baltimore into a crime scene from 'Se7en.' A serial killer dispenses with victims by re-creating tortuous scenes from Poe's writings -- and it's up the famed author to play detective and catch the madman. Cuasack may never shake his Lloyd Dobbler-esque persona, but fans of the macabre writer might get a kick out of the set pieces recreating 'The Pit and the Pendulum,' 'The Premature Burial' and 'The Masque of Red Death,' among others.
