'Silent House'

American audiences are treated to another remake of a foreign hit; this time it's the creepy Uruguayan thriller 'La Casa Muda.' An emotionally-fragile girl is terrorized by a crazed stalker, while she and father are alone in the woods trying to restore an old vacation home. When the film premiered at Sundance this year it struggled to win over audiences with its story, but 'Silent House' has earned kudos for its technical achievements -- shooting the whole movie in one take -- and for its star, Elizabeth Olsen, who is quickly racking up a string of buzzed-about performances.
