Back to 2012 Movie Preview: Horror
'Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D'
Release Date: Oct. 5, 2012
Because the one thing missing from the 'Texas Chainaw Massacre' series was 3D -- and we mean that in all sincerity. Ignoring the events of the Jessica Biel remake, this one picks up right where the original 1974 classic ended (so we guess it's ignoring 1986's 'Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2' also). A young woman heads to Texas to collect an old family inheritance -- and we know it has to involve Leatherface somehow; he's either her brother or father or something ridiculous like that. The one bright spot of the film is the return of Bill Moseley, who became a horror icon as Chop Top in 'TCM 2.'
