'ParaNorman'

Norman is a slightly-strange outcast who is shunned by the other kids at school, but when a centuries-old curse takes over the town, he's the only one equipped to save the day. Aided by the ability to talk to ghosts, Norman encounters the terrifying trio of witches, zombies and dumb grown-ups on his off-beat adventure. The movie's unique stop-motion animation is done by Laika Inc., the team that created the Oscar-nominated 'Coraline,' and is sure to appeal to all those kids who like monster movies or feel slightly out-of-place. Although we can't help but think this movie would be more appreciated in October, instead of the end of summer.
