Steve McQueen is terrific in 'Bullitt' and 'The Great Escape,'b ut no way he could pull off Harry Callahan, a role that would eventually go to Clint Eastwood. Can you imagine someone other than Eastwood sticking with the 'Dirty Harry' franchise, going on to say famous lines like "Go ahead, make my day"?
