Will Smith in 'The Matrix'

Most movie nerds know that Will Smith passed on playing Neo, a role that inevitably went to Keanu Reeves. This is probably a good thing -- a fact even Smith agrees with. "I would have absolutely messed up 'The Matrix.' At that point I wasn't smart enough as an actor to let the movie be -- whereas Keanu was," the Fresh Prince said in a 2007 interview with Wired.
