5 Movie Characters Desperately Seeking ... Sex

'Hall Pass' is about two men (played by Owen Wilson and Jason Sudeikis) who, after years of only being with their wives, are granted a one-week reprieve from their marriage vows. The guys immediately embark on a mission to score as many women as they can bed.

If you're able, set aside the movie's most controversial plot point, the comparatively novel one about getting a free pass from matrimony. Instead, let's focus on the second-most controversial part of the film's equation -- namely, that it involves characters on a sexual quest. Blame Hollywood if you must, but horndogs with one-track minds are not as rare in filmdom as you might expect.

In an effort to prepare viewers for the bawdiness of 'Hall Pass' (it's a Farrelly Brothers film, after all), Moviefone looks at five of our favorite movie characters who are desperate for sex.

'Can't Hardly Wait' Cast: Where Are They Now?

Yesterday was Seth Green's 37th birthday. Yep, the redhead whom we've known since childhood is approaching the big 4-0. That fact surprised us as much as anyone, so we decided to look back at Green's long career. That's when we saw his credits and remembered, Wow, 'Can't Hardly Wait' was awesome.

The 1998 teen comedy -- an homage to 1980s film romps -- is about a group of graduating high school seniors and their last night to party together before splitting up for college. While largely overlooked during its release, 'Can't Hardly Wait' has developed a rabid cult following and propelled a number of young actors into successful careers.

To celebrate all things Seth Green during his birthday week, Moviefone takes a look at where he and the rest of the cast of 'Can't Hardly Wait' are today.

Best Boner Jokes in Movies: 6 Crotch Gags That Make Us Stand Up and Salute

We may not agree on the origin of man, but it's a safe bet that our ancestors, whoever they might have been, laughed whenever one of their menfolk got hit in the nuts.

That's because comedy relating to a man's crotch is humor without borders; age, language, nationality, creed, sex and social class don't seem to matter. Indeed, jokes involving a gent's junk unite us all in laughter, and that may be why they've long been a go-to gag on the big screen.

This is proven yet again in the new movie 'Little Fockers,' yet another Ben Stiller/Robert De Niro team-up. A subplot has De Niro's character taking Sustengo, a Viagra knockoff, and it gives him a pesky, four-hour boner. And guess which family member has to deal with it? His son-in-law, of course.

The surely hilarious bit offers us a small window to take a fond look back at some famous boner jokes in film history -- and that's a window we're going to leap through head-first. We've listed our six favorites below. Did we miss any?

Movie Characters Who Didn't Have to Smoke (in Honor of the Great American Smokeout)

The American Cancer Society has promoted the Great American Smokeout every third Thursday of November since 1977. As always, today's challenge is simple: Stop smoking for 24 hours. Their hope is that setting such an easily attainable goal will inspire at least some smokers to quit permanently.

We don't know how many Americans have stopped smoking as a result of the event. In fact, we don't know much about health in general -- after all, we eat a lot of movie theater popcorn and Goobers. However, we do know that the medical backlash against tobacco use has forced studios to diminish smoking in films. Ten years ago, viewers hardly noticed if a character smoked. Now it stands out like a sore thumb.

Not all directors and actors have gotten the message yet. The following recent movie characters -- all smokers -- should have taken a hint and butted out.

The 10 Best Fan Reenactments of Movie Scenes

While fans have dabbled in movie reenactments for years, the rise of YouTube has led to a surge in these kinds of productions. Actors, animators, comedians, stop-motion directors and just regular folks are turning out hundreds and hundreds of these videos a year.

Until recently, our knee-jerk reaction has been to ignore them completely, in the same way we always have pretended Civil War reenactments don't exist. However, due to the increasingly stiff competition for attention online, the medium has become a pseudo art form, allowing even more restrained fans like us to enjoy rehashes of our favorite movie scenes in ways we never would have expected.

After the jump, Moviefone rounds up ten of our favorite fan reenactments of movie scenes. Some are funny, some are impressive and some even make us like the source material a little more. So get ready to kill some time at work and watch some great videos made with a lot of love for film.

'Hot Tub Time Machine' Halloween Costume

How to dress up like the guys from 'Hot Tub Time Machine' for Halloween:

The Costume:
The guys from 'Hot Tub Time Machine.'

What You'll Need: In the film, four characters -- above, from left to right: Nick (Craig Robinson), Lou (Rob Corddry), Adam (John Cusack) and Jacob (Clark Duke) -- travel back in time. Start by choosing the character you most resemble.

Once you've selected, go online and order an inflatable baby pool. They're available on multiple websites but will be hard to find in stores since it's no longer summer. Choose one that is around 3 feet in diameter and does not fill up with air in the bottom. This will be your 'hot tub.' Using scissors, cut a hole in the bottom of the pool large enough to accommodate your waist. Next, attach two pieces of rope to either side with duct tape. Make sure they're long enough to sit comfortably on your shoulders because you'll wear it like hobos used to wear barrels. Spray paint the entire pool light brown, to replicate the wood color of the movie's hot tub.

The Bedbug Horror Movie and 4 Others We Can't Believe Haven't Been Made

Some of the best horror films have been based on true events. 'Psycho,' 'Jaws,' 'The Amityville Horror' and 'The Exorcist' were all inspired by stories anyone could have read about in the newspaper at the time. Audiences are often more terrified if they think the events in fright fests can actually happen to them.

Since horror can be a limiting genre, Hollywood is constantly on the make for new storylines to scare people. We don't know for sure, but we'd be willing to bet studios are currently shopping scripts concerning these recent newsmakers: bedbug infestations, oil spills, miners trapped in mines, a vampire-obsessed couple drinking a homeless man's blood and hoarders.

After the jump, Moviefone predicts five horror films you'll be watching in the near future.
