New Photos of Sarah Connor, er, Linda Hamilton on 'Chuck'

linda hamilton chuck

After three seasons and countless geek friendly guest stars, I've finally made up my mind about NBC's Chuck. I love it! Shocker, I know! It's a light and funny spy romp with a likable cast, a sexy leading lady and, as I mentioned above, tons of geektastic guest stars that make my insides feel all good and caressed.

So far we've seen folks like Scott Bakula, super vegan Brandon Routh, and Chevy Chase show up to complicate Chuck's life. This season, we can look forward to seeing former James Bond Timothy Dalton and Olivia Munn on the show. And, of course, the mother of the future, Sarah Conner herself, Linda Hamilton will make an appearance as Chuck's mom in the season premiere.

That's one of the first pics from her guest stint up. Check out more photos of Miss Hamilton in action, and don't forget to catch Chuck when it premieres Sept. 20 on NBC.

Watch This! Adam Baldwin Sings 'Firefly's' "Hero of Canton" A Cappella

adam baldwin jayneI'll say this about Adam Baldwin: He sure gives the fans what they want. And today, apparently, they want to see him sporting his dashing orange knit hat and singing 'Hero of Canton,' from the 'Jaynestown' episode of Firefly.

You remember 'Jaynestown,' the episode where Mal and crew visited a town where Jayne was considered a folk hero. Turns out he robbed the town magistrate but dropped the money all over town, leading people to think he was some sort of Robin Hood figure. Baldwin took the spotlight in that episode as he does in the clip below. Head after the jump and turn yr headphones up for a fun Firefly flashback.

'Ghostbusters' Stay Puft Marshmallows Are Now A Thing!

stay puft marshmallows

Stay Puft! Who could forget the monstrous marshmallow man who frightened Egon Spengler beyond the capacity for rational thought in the original Ghostbusters? His malevolent grin and violent disregard for church property are forever ingrained in our collective memory. Now, thanks to some very nerdy food manufacturers, you can finally find out what Stay Puft tastes like!

It only took 26 years, but Think Geek has finally developed real-life Stay Puft Marshmallows, just like the ones little Ray Stantz used to roast at Camp Oconda. Well, almost -- these soft and sugary treats are ultra-caffeinated! Why? Because Mr. Stay Puft is no harmless sailor out for a stroll; he's an evil giant pile of goo who wants to make you get all nervous, sweaty, and jittery, just like The Key Master.

For those looking for a cool piece of non-edible Ghostbusters merch, I recommend Think Geek's Ecto-1 License Plate replica. It's just as awesome and refreshingly caffeine free.

Allison Miller Joins Spielberg's Fox Series 'Terra Nova'

allison miller terra novaRemember Terra Nova, the epic time-travel series Steven Spielberg and Peter Chernin are producing for Fox? Sadly, it's been pushed back from mid-season 2010 to fall 2011, but don't fret. The network says the showrunners are taking their time with the project to bring us "One of the most visually stimulating and dramatically grand series to air on network television." Translation: It's super expensive, but they're trying to make it awesome. It sounds ambitious, and I can't wait to see it.

Back in June, Jason O'Mara joined the cast as the lead, Jim Shannon, a man who travels back to prehistoric times with his family. Now it looks like the show has found its female lead in Allison Miller.

Katee Sackhoff Heads Back To 'The Big Bang Theory'

Hide your toasters, people, because Katee Sackhoff is returning to TV. The Battlestar Galactica vet will guest star again this fall on The Big Bang Theory.

Sackhoff returns to the CBS comedy in an upcoming episode to give randy nerd Wolowitz (Simon Helberg) some much needed relationship advice. Sadly, it doesn't look like she'll be popping up in Wolowitz's bathtub again, but I'm still looking forward to the ep. Here's what she told our sister site TV Squad about her guest spot on the show.

"He's (Wolowitz) struggling with his feelings about Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) and them breaking up, and in pops Katee Sackhoff again.

Wesley Snipes Was Almost Lt. Geordi La Forge!

snipesSo most of you know that Edward James Olmos almost ended up playing Captain Jean-Luc Picard on Star Trek: The Next Generation. I get why he would've been on the short list for that role; it makes some kind of sense. But Wesley Snipes as Geordi La Forge? Willy Mays Hayes? Shadow Henderson? Frakkin' Blade as Geordi La Forge? It sounds crazy, but it almost happened.

An internal Paramount memo that details the front-runners for the lead roles for The Next Generation has surfaced online, and it's full of wonderful surprises. The fact that Snipes was considered to play Geordi, and probably auditioned for Gene Roddenberry, is probably the biggest surprise. But it's also interesting to note that Yaphet Kotto was considered for the role of Captain Picard and Denise Crosby, who played Tahsa Yar, almost landed the role of Deanna Troi.
