Indie 'Breaking Upwards' Goes Viral With Raunchy Music Video

A couple years back, Zoe Lister-Jones went to her boyfriend, Daryl Wein, with an unorthodox suggestion: she wanted to take "days off" from their relationship. On those days, they wouldn't see each other or talk to each other; they'd be free to do whatever they wanted to do, even if it meant sleeping with other people.

Wein was intrigued, and not just about what was happening to his relationship. Lister-Jones and Wein are both actors, and writers, and filmmakers -- a couple of New York-based grade-A, Type-A personalities. They don't lie around waiting for their phones to ring. So they took the idea one step further: They made a movie about it. The result, 'Breaking Upwards,' opens this weekend (and like most IFC Films releases these days, will also be instantly available on-demand).

Zack Galifianakis Puts Ben Stiller in 'Two Ferns' Hot Seat

There are celebrities who seem to view the whole internet thing as one of Hollywood's red-headed stepchildren, avoiding it at all costs. And then there are stars like Zack Galifianakis, who embrace it with both arms, and maybe even a little leg.

Once a rising underground comic, Galifianakis was thrust into the public eye, tighty whities and all, with last year's smash, 'The Hangover.' Lucky for us, Galifianakis isn't going to let his sudden mega-success (see where he ranked on Moviefone's list of the Top 25 Funniest People in Hollywood) stop him from continuing his long-running Chris Farley-inspired FunnyorDie talk show series 'Between Two Ferns,' where he's conducted some of the world's most awesomely awkard interviews with stars like Michael Cera, Charlize Theron and Natalie Portman.

Michael Cera Gets Awful Hair, Fist Pump Lessons From 'Jersey Shore' Crew

Michael Cera's ('Juno,' 'Superbad,' 'Nick & Nora's Infinite Playlist') upcoming bad-boy comedy, 'Youth in Revolt,' takes place largely in New Jersey. So it was only fitting that Cera -- Canadian by birth, Californian by choice -- recently returned to Jersey to promote the new film.

But the lovably droll actor didn't take all those bridges and tunnels to hang with the good people of the Garden State, he went to hook up with the cast of MTV's 'Jersey Shore.'

The Heath Ledger Decade: A Look Back (VIDEO)

Terry Gilliam's new film, 'The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus,' contains not only the fantastical contents of the notoriously unlucky writer-director's deranged mind, but also the final performance by the late, great Heath Ledger.

In his brief career, Ledger made a lot of excellent films and, as happens, a fair amount of head scratchers. Here's a look back at The Best ... and The Rest.
