10 Things You Never Knew About The Brat Pack

It's by no means hyperbole to say that The Brat Pack defined a generation. Molly Ringwald, Judd Nelson, John Cusack and company -- stars of classic '80s flicks like 'The Breakfast Club,' 'Pretty Pink' and 'Say Anything' -- not only revolutionized the teen movie genre, they became a cultural phenomenon that Generation X connected with on a deeply visceral level.

Two decades have since passed. Brat Pack Godfather John Hughes, who Roger Ebert once dubbed the "Philosopher of Adolescence," is no longer with us. 'The Breakfast Club' is turning 25. And hitting bookstores this week is 'You Couldn't Ignore Me If You Tried: The Brat Pack, John Hughes and Their Impact on a Generation,' which could very well be the definitive account of the troupe.

To celebrate the release of 'You Couldn't Ignore Me If You Tried,' author Susannah Gora shared with us 10 fun facts about the Pack.

Proof That Steven Seagal Has In Fact Been Making Movies For the Last Decade

Steven Seagal officially re-entered the pop culture zeitgeist with the recent premiere of his A&E reality show 'Steven Seagal: Lawman,' which finds the former big-ticket action star getting his Miranda Rights on with unsuspecting delinquents (It must be so much cooler if when you get arrested, it's by Steven Seagal!).

The program could be looked at as a comeback vehicle of sorts for the pony-tailed tough guy, but contrary to popular belief, Seagal has not been collecting unemployment since his Hollywood stock plummeted several years back. In fact, Seagal has remained somewhat of a workhorse. You'd just have to pay close attention to the straight-to-DVD vaults to notice.

And since waiting for the DVD to see how the filmmaker goes about his FX craftwork is soooo 2001, we're thrilled to present an exclusive glimpse at the progression of The Tweedles, The Dodo, The White Rabbit and The March Hare.

10 Things to Know About Kristen Bell, Josh Duhamel & 'When in Rome'

Italy would've been nice and all, but we were more than happy to walk on over to the lower-Manhattan set for the scoop on the new fantastical romantic comedy 'When in Rome.' Kristen Bell plays an love-weary gallerina who, while in Rome for her sister's wedding, steals coinage from a "fountain of love" and is soon being chased by a band of suitors (they're played by Will Arnett, Jon Heder, Dax Shepherd and Danny De Vito, though we'll say the odds-on-favorite is the above-the-title Josh Duhamel). Here's our traveler's guide to -- OK, 10 fun behind-the-scenes facts from -- 'Rome.'

'Crazy Heart' vs. 'The Wrestler'

Filed under: Hot Topic, 'Fone Finds
We're not the first -- and certainly won't be the last -- to compare the new buzzed-about Jeff Bridges drama 'Crazy Heart' with last year's buzzed-about Mickey Rourke drama 'The Wrestler.' Both are fall Fox Searchlight releases with heavy Oscar potential (one should have won Best Actor last year, the other will win Best Actor this year). And then there are the plots...

But after coming about this brilliant 'Avatar' vs. 'Pocahontas' Mad Lib on Buzzfeed, we figure we'd put it down on paper.
