After making a name for herself in 2006's 'The Devil Wears Prada,' Emily Blunt has looked to secure that next rite of passage for an actress with big career aspirations: the Victorian period drama.

And she's mostly well-received by critics for her work in the independently distributed 'The Young Victoria,' even though the consensus is -- as is typical with this slow-paced genre -- the movie comes off a little flat. Read the reviews and tell us what you think.

After previously teaming on 'Two Weeks Notice' and 'Music and Lyrics,' writer-director Marc Lawrence and Hugh Grant are back together on the romantic comedy beat with 'Did You Hear About the Morgans?' which co-stars Sarah Jessica Parker.

Summit Entertainment has announced that it will release the upcoming Nicolas Cage 3-D thriller 'Drive Angry' in the U.S.

Directed and written by Patrick Lussier ('Red Eye,' 'My Bloody Valentine'), the movie is about a father who relentlessly chases after his daughter's killers.

Mel Gibson Plans 'Vacation' in Veracruz

Mel Gibson is ramping up his acting career again, after keeping a relatively low profile following his high-profile drunk-driving arrest in 2006.

According to Variety, Gibson is set to star in 'How I Spent My Summer Vacation,' which is based on a screenplay he wrote himself.

The movie will follow a career criminal who gets arrested in Mexico and sent to a dangerous prison. Luckily, he befriends a capable 9-year-old boy, who helps him in his quest to survive.

Twelve years after he unleashed the most commercially successful movie of all-time, 'Titanic,' James Cameron is finally back with a few feature film: the computer-generated sci-fi spectacle 'Avatar.'

'Transylmania' Sets Record for Worst Box-Office Debut Ever

The genre-spoofing indie film 'Transylmania' endured the worst opening in the history of the domestic box office over the weekend for a movie opening up in more than 1,000 theaters, according entertainment news site TheWrap.
