In honor of our 20th birthday, we'll be celebrating movies and their impact on individual people. If there is a movie that has changed or inspired you, let us know by emailing moviefone-editorial@teamaol.com.We have all had those days. You get a speeding ticket on your way to work, your performance review is less than glowing, there's a run in your nylons by lunch and after work your car won't start. Your daughter comes home with a note from the teacher requesting a conference, the mortgage is late and you burn dinner because you are on the phone trying to settle a credit card dispute.
Though I make myself wait until after Thanksgiving to start my annual ritual of watching 'It's a Wonderful Life,' I replay scenes in my mind throughout the year as necessary. My financial woes don't seem as bad when to compared to poor George. At least an almost-angel doesn't have to save me from the police when I get a ticket (though I wish one would). I'm not losing my job to a greedy old man, and I haven't yet resorted to punching my daughter's teacher.
