Wanna See a Movie While on the Go?

Text your zipcode to Moviefone to see today's movies and showtimes. It's simple.


Option 1 - Text your zip code to: 7FILM (73456)
  • In the reply, we'll show you a list of movies playing near you. Select the movie you want to see today, and we'll send you showtimes
  • Example: 90210

Option 2 - Text your City and State to: 7FILM (73456)
  • In the reply: We'll show you a list of movies playing near you. For best results, separate the name of the city and state with a comma.
  • Example: Brooklyn, NY

Option 3 - Text the Movie Title + ZIP or Movie Title + City, State
  • In the reply from 7FILM, we'll send you a list of theaters near you showing the movie you've entered. This is a great shortcut, but be sure to enter in your location the name of the movie.

The Best Showtimes Pages Online Just Got Better

Hi, this is Amee, proud Product Manager of Moviefone.com. Usually, I try to stay as far away from the editorial pages as I can (our editor-in-chief greatly appreciates this) but today, I just had to jump in to let you know how excited we are about the launch of our new Moviefone Showtimes pages.

Every day, I pore through your user feedback, taking note of how much you love our showtimes experience, as well as listing out the features you feel are missing or not working quite right. Well, we took your most popular wishes, added a few of our own, and cooked up a new version of showtimes. Take a look at what we've done and please let us know what you think about the changes/additions.

UPDATE - Friday, 10/16 4:00 PM ET: We admit it! We were wrong!
We have reinstated the theater shortcuts at the top of our showtimes pages (because you let us know) as well as addressing the peek-a-boo issue with the date dropdown. We want to thank everyone who took the time to write in with their suggestions and thank you for your patience!
