Harrison Ford, January Jones and the Least Influential People Alive

Hollywood is fickle. One day, you're a movie star; the next, you're -- well, still a movie star, just not a respected one. Take Harrison Ford. He was Han Solo and Indiana Jones! But, Ford's 'Star Wars' and Indy days are far behind him -- which is why he's No. 23 on GQ's list of the 25 Least Influential People Alive. The reason? "Here's a man who has spent years going to great lengths to let you know just what an inconvenience it is for Harrison Ford to be in the movie you're watching. 'Cowboys & Aliens' would have been a bad movie regardless, but Ford made matters worse by sleepwalking through his scenes and treating the publicity for the movie like someone was asking him to build a Malaysian prison." Luckily for Harrison, he isn't the only actor to make this unfortunate countdown.

Yoda Is a Spokesperson for Ramen Noodles (VIDEO)

A week ago, you laughed and laughed at a montage of Darth Vader cameos in commercials, which ultimately proved that the Sith Lord was little more than a corporate shill. Unfortunately, the Dark Side isn't the only one selling out. Behold, a Japanese advertisement for Cup Noodles featuring Yoda. In this spot, the all-powerful Jedi master uses his skills in the most heroic way possible -- by taking an oversized kettle of steaming water and pouring it on an equally oversized cup of ramen. For someone who promotes patience, this ad seems completely hypocritical. Oh, well. At least it's Ramen and not, say, Currys PC/World. Right, Darth?

Did 'My Week With Marilyn' Really Happen?

On Thursday, 'My Week With Marilyn' will open in limited release around the country. The film tells the story of Marilyn Monroe (Michelle Williams), who, while filming 'The Prince and the Showgirl' in England, ended up running off for a week with third assistant director Colin Clark (Clark ended up writing a book about his experience, which became the basis for this film). Viewers also get to see the frustration of Sir Laurence Olivier (Kenneth Branagh), who directed and starred alongside Monroe in 'Prince.' Per the film her tardiness and inability to remember lines drove Olivier insane. Or did it? (Cue: thunderclap.) Actually, yeah, probably.

John Landis on Eddie Murphy: 'I Don't Know If He's Interested in Being Really Funny Anymore'

With credits that include, 'Animal House,' 'Blues Brothers,' 'Three Amigos,' 'Trading Places' and 'Coming to America,' it's not too much of a stretch to call director John Landis a comedic genius. On top of that, Landis has been given -- thanks to those last two films on the list -- a unique insight into the mind of Eddie Murphy. This information is particularly useful now, considering Murphy has been in the news recently, as you may have noticed. (He's funny again in 'Tower Heist'! He's going to host the Oscars! He's not going to host the Oscars! He's not funny anymore in 'A Thousand Words'!)

Cameron Crowe Once Fired Ashton Kutcher; Was Planning Marvin Gaye Biopic With Will Smith

The last time Cameron Crowe directed a movie, it was 2005's 'Elizabethtown,' a bust that was panned by critics and audiences with equal fervor. Would things have been different if Ashton Kutcher was the star instead of Orlando Bloom? Probably not, but that didn't stop Crowe from first courting the '70's Show' star for the role, only to fire him later on. In this week's issue of The Hollywood Reporter, the director admitted to being frustrated with Kutcher after casting him, eventually replacing him with someone else.

'The Iceman' Cast: Chris Evans Replaces James Franco

Are James Franco and Chris Evans the same person? One studio thinks so! According to Deadline, Evans has been cast in 'The Iceman,' a role that Franco had originally accepted, only to drop out (probably because of his 5,241 other projects in development). The movie, based on the Anthony Bruno book, follows a contract killer for the mob (Michael Shannon is attached to play the killer); the Franco/Evans role was for the killer's mentor.

'50/50' Lawsuit: Did Seth Rogen's Movie Steal Its Title From a Music Label?

Finally, some movie lawsuit news that doesn't involve 'The Hangover Part II.' According to The Hollywood Reporter, Eastland Music Group has filed a lawsuit against the filmmakers of '50/50,' claiming that the film's title was stolen. EMG says that it has been using the "50/50" and "Phifty-50" name since 2000, and that they have a common law trademark on "50/50" (which means the title is "never formally registered but potentially still recognized as intellectual property if it was used continuously"). The label originally sent a request to the studio back in September (the movie was released on Sept. 30) to stop using '50/50.' Obviously, that didn't work.
