
All this week, Moviefone is previewing the films that will dominate theaters in 2012. From 'The Dark Knight Rises' to 'Ice Age 4' to 'Django Unchained,' the new year will offer ticket buyers of all stripes the chance to see something they (hopefully) like. But which 2012 film is the most anticipated? Judging from a new poll: 'The Hunger Games.'
According to poll numbers released by NextMovie, 51 percent of respondents in a recent poll selected the highly anticipated adaptation of Suzanne Collins's best-seller as their No. 1 2012 release. Close behind was 'Breaking Dawn Part 2,' which rounded up 45 percent of the vote. 'The Dark Knight Rises,' 'The Avengers,' 'The Amazing Spider-Man' and 'The Hobbit' only earned 4 percent of the vote ... combined.
