
With Charlie Sheen still nosediving into a void of self-destruction, it's nice to see the rest of the Sheen/Estevez men back on the big screen and doing something productive with their lives. Soon to hit theaters on October 7, Emilio Estevez directs and plays opposite his real-life father Martin Sheen in 'The Way,' a story of loss, growth, and a pilgrimage across Europe.

'The Way'
What's it about?: A father gets word that his estranged son has died while hiking the El camino de Santiago trail across France and Spain. In the hopes of gaining a better understanding of his late son, the father decides to the hike the trail himself while meeting new people and spreading his son's ashes along the way.
Who's in it?: Martin Sheen, Emilio Estevez, and James Nesbitt, among others. Written and directed by Emilio Estevez.
When does it come out?: October 7, 2011.
What do we think of the movie?: Could be good, nice to see Sheen and Estevez doing the father-and-son thing.

'Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance'
What's it about?: Johnny Blaze comes out of hiding to kill the devil.
Who's in it?: Nicolas Cage, Idris Elba, and Ciaran Hinds, among others. Directed by Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor, written by Scott S. Gimple and David S. Goyer.
When does it come out?: February 17, 2012.
What do we think of the trailer?: Way more awesome than we ever could have imagined.

'Carnage'
What's it about?: Two sets of parents meet after their kids get into a brawl at school. What starts as a civil conversation gradual spirals into utter chaos as the adults become just as bad as their kids.
Who's in it?: Kate Winslet, Jodie Foster, John C. Reilly and Christoph Waltz. Written and directed by Roman Polanski.
When does it come out?: December 16, 2011.
What do we think of the trailer?: Absolutely fantastic and jam-packed with Oscar bait.

'The Woman in Black'
What's it about?: A young lawyer travels to a remote mansion to collect a deceased client's belongings. Upon arriving, the lawyer discovers the mansion's dark history and finds himself terrorized by a vengeful ghost who threatens the lives of him and his family.
Who's in it?: Daniel Radcliffe and Ciaran Hinds, among others. Directed by James Watkins, written by Jane Goldman.
When does it come out?: February 3, 2011.
What do we think of the trailer?: Terrifying.

'Machine Gun Preacher'
What's it about?: Based on a true story, a former biker/drug dealer sees the light, turns his life around, and devotes his life to rescuing Sudanese children from becoming child soldiers.

When does it come out?: November 18, 2011.
What do we think of the trailer?: Better than the title.

'Puncture'
What's it about?: Based on a true story, a drug abusing, hotshot lawyer takes a high-profile case representing a nurse who's suing her hospital. The more he learns about the case, the closer he gets to uncovering a health care conspiracy that's bigger than he ever could have imagined could put his entire firm at risk.
Who's in it?: Chris Evans, Vinessa Shaw, and Mark Kassen, among others. Directed by Adam Kassen and Mark Kassen, written by Chris Lopata.
When does it come out?: September 23, 2011.
What do we think of the movie?: Interesting stuff, but Evans steals the show.

'Underworld: Awakening'
What's it about?: The fourth film in the series, 'Awakening' picks up with Selene (Kate Beckinsale) coming out of a 12-year-induced coma to find a world in which humans have discovered the truth about vampires and Lycans and are waging an all-out war against them. She also finds out she has a daughter somewhere in the world.
Who's in it?: Kate Beckinsal and Michael Ealy, among others. Directed by Mans Marlind and Bjorn Stein, written by J. Michael Straczynski.
When does it come out?: January 20, 2012.
What do we think of the movie?: More of the same.
