The cast of 'Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy' boasts a who's who of British actors -- Gary Oldman, Colin Firth and Tom Hardy -- so we're excited to see the first photos of the actors in character.
Oldman looks the part as retired MI6 agent George Smiley, as does a conservatively suited Firth.
But in an unflattering '70s get-up, we barely recognize hot Brit Hardy. Maybe it's that shaggy hair, or that long-collared shirt, but we're more used to seeing the 'Inception' hunk buff and tough in stills from 'The Dark Knight Rises' and 'Warrior.' Not that we're complaining; with a terrific ensemble in a spy classic like this, we're totally in.
See photos of Firth and Hardy after the jump.

He must then determine which of his trusted fellow agents is the traitor and he's got a roster of actors adept at playing villains as suspects: Mark Strong, Jared Harris and Ciarán Hinds. Benedict Cumberbatch (TV's Sherlock Holmes) is also in the cast.
Swedish helmer Tomas ('Let the Right One In') Alfredson is directing.
