According to an unnamed source quoted in an Indian newspaper, "[Bond 23] Director Sam Mendes made a hush-hush visit to Mumbai along with production designer Terry Bamber in mid-April. The movie will be shot in Mumbai and Goa during the monsoon season on a month-long schedule."
EON Productions, which is producing the next Bond film, would not confirm the reports, and issued a comment that "nothing has been confirmed yet."
Goa, a western resort town, was featured in a car-chase sequence in 'The Bourne Supremacy,' while Mumbai was used more recently for scenes in 'Mission: Impossible -- Ghost Protocol.'
James Bond previously visited India in the 1983 Roger Moore vehicle 'Octopussy,' which shot in Agra and Udaipur.
The monsoon season begins in late June and last for about two months.
