Uma Thurman -- Defining Moments
Uma Thurman on Keeping It Fresh
Uma Thurman, when asked what the defining moment in her life would be, doesn't have just one -- she has several. 365 a year, in fact. "Every day is a defining moment," the veteran actress muses. "Maybe that's what keeps it fresh."
"It's courage that makes it all kinds of possible. And love. And that's what makes the time meaningful."
Looking back on her film career, she refers to the 'Kill Bill' movies she's made with Quentin Tarantino as the most "notorious" she's done, whereas she's had the most fun on set while singing and dancing as Ulla in 'The Producers.'
Thurman's played those parts for a living, but when we asked people on the street what movie characters they'd love to play, they let their imaginations run wild. Tough female characters reigned (we're sure Uma can relate!), as two women named Storm (Halle Berry) from 'X-Men' and Lara Croft (Angelina Jolie) from 'Lara Croft: Tomb Raider' as their ideal roles. But we're most amused by the guy who said he'd like to play Roger Rabbit, because he's "very animated."
