This adorable Internet trend is one we hope never fades out: kids reenacting very popular, sometimes inappropriate TV and movie roles. Some of the first to surface were the hysterical videos imitating MTV shows -- one with fake-tanned, fist-pumping kids doing 'Jersey Shore,' and another featuring ditzy, drama-starting little ones with perfect portrayals of the obnoxious cast of 'The Hills.' Oh, and we can't forget the re-creation of Bravo's 'Real Housewives of New Jersey,' with its tiny stars rocking teased wigs and on-point Jersey accents. Now, just in time for this morning's 2011 Oscar nominations announcement, AOL released Kids Act Out: Oscar-Nominated Movies, a new collection of kid acting videos. In them, we have the pleasure of enjoying trimmed-down scenes from three nominated films -- unlike any way we've seen them yet. Included are a stuttering cutie as King George VI in 'The King's Speech,' a feisty "Irish" Micky Ward with an unintelligible Boston accent in 'The Fighter,' and a brave (and tiny) Aaron Ralston in '127 Hours.'
If you ask us, these super-cute little ones give tremendous, maybe even Oscar-worthy, performances. Check them out below, and when you're done laughing and awwwww-ing, take our poll of which rendition would win Best Picture in an imaginary kid version of the Oscars.
