Oscar hopefuls '127 Hours,' 'Black Swan' and 'Winter's Bone' were among the top films nominated for this year's Indie Spirit Awards, announced earlier this morning by Eva Mendes and Jeremy Renner.
'Winter's Bone,' which won Best Feature at last night's 20th Annual Gotham Awards, led the pack with an impressive seven nominations, including Best Feature, Best Director (Debra Granick), Best Actress (Jennifer Lawrence), Best Supporting Actor (John Hawkes) and Best Supporting Actress (Dale Dickey).
Close behind 'Winter's Bone' was 'The Kids Are All Right,' with five nominations.
Meanwhile, 'Black Swan' danced its way to four nominations, including one for its lead, Natalie Portman, who will compete against five nominees in the Best Lead Female category.
Rounding out the Best Feature category are the Danny Boyle drama '127 Hours,' which looks to be a shoo-in for Best Actor (James Franco), and 'Greenberg.'
