Here's a video to further confuse people who can't distinguish between reality and fantasy. During a playful interview with Judd Apatow at Funny or Die, Daniel Radcliffe jokingly reveals that he is actually Harry Potter. "Daniel Radcliffe" is just a role he plays for the public. Well, except the ladies, to whom he'll admit to being Harry if it'll get him somewhere. Radcliffe/Potter claims that he use to think he was an actor playing a wizard, but around the time of filming "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" he suddenly realized it's the other way around.
"Dan is a fantastic character," Potter says in the video. "I've really enjoyed playing him."
He's even got the "broom burn" on his bum to prove he's indeed a wizard who flies around and plays Quidditch for real (too bad for the ladies watching, he displays the affliction on his nether bits to Apatow offscreen). And allegedly some pro teams are interested in signing him. But he doesn't fight evil wizards and other creatures, because he's already done all that. SPOILER ALERT: Voldemort and the others are dead. Now Harry just "chills out."
Don't worry, it's easy to tell he's kidding because Radcliffe is clearly not very good at improv and keeps cracking a smile. But it wouldn't be surprising if some really delusional diehard "Harry Potter" fans out there get the wrong idea. If you're one of these sorts of people, you've hereby heard the truth.
