'Harry Potter' vs. 'Twilight' Smackdown: The Volturi vs. The Death Eaters

As much as I adore the Volturi (only Aro because he was oddly entertaining and Michael Sheen is an amazing actor), they are not villains. They want Bella dead unless she can prove herself as a vampire; that doesn't make them villains. That's like calling the Vampire Princes villains in the Darren Shan Saga because they want Darren to prove himself. (Darren Shan Saga BTW totally whips Twilight's ass)
Anyway, the Death Eaters don't care who they kill. They just kill.
And which makes them better, they are analogies of Nazis. Voldemort is Hitler, which makes it that much more interesting and you realize just how evil he and his Death Eaters really are. They cause people to turn against their friends (Peter Pettigrew, for instance.)
So, no contest here
And Villains do not just decide at the last book that they should talk it out and just be okay with each other. Hell, where is the war SMeyer was working up to? What the hell?

Really? You've got to be KIDDING me Moviefone! Well, the Death Eaters have Bellatrix Lestrange, so that pretty much tells you who's going to win already. And Bellatrix is played by HELENA BONHAM CARTER! The DeathEaters also (technically) have Snape! SNAPE for crying out loud! Draco, Lucius, and Narcissa Malfoy also add to the Evil mix, not to mention the countless other nasty baddies (Fenrir Greyback, the werewolf anyone? Yaxley, Rodolphus, Dolohov?) I almost feel..sorry...for Twilight..but then my Death Eater side tells me to stop being such a pansy.

Hmm, let's see, on one side, you have an entire army of powerful, relentless, sadistic, wizards, following the greatest and most powerful Dark Wizard of all-time, Voldemort, and on the other, you have Dakota Fanning and a bunch of pansy, sparkly vampires.

Gee, so tough!

Hopefully one of these days, you Twilight fans will be able to realize what makes a TRUE antagonist. And here's a hint: they don't wear eyeliner :)

The best example is looking at the last parts of both series, spoilers by the way. Look at the finale of Harry Potter, the final fight between the Death Eaters and the Order/remaining character results in the deaths of many favorite characters and powerful witch's and wizards. On the other hand the finale of Twilight ends with absolutely nothing happening. Literally the final battle consists of some words and hard glares, and that is it. Death Eaters win, no contest

Is this poll a joke? Take a look at the two pictures. In the one you have the psychotic and (disturbingly) sexy Bellatrix Lestrange, mother of all the blood-curdling villain b*itches, played by one of the most amazing actress Helena Bonham-Carter who in real life looks as freakishly hot as the character she plays.

And in the other one we have Dakota Fanning playing........... sparkly mini vampire?

Volturi all the way. They can whoop the Death Eaters any day. I want to see a battle between the nasty Death Eaters & the invincible Volturi. I want the Volturi lead the Death Eaters into their domain & feast upon their blood. There would be no way that the Death Eaters could beat the Volturi. Jane can stop them with her illusion of pain & then have the rest head up to them before they know it & start feeding on them. I am a fan of both series, but I say the Volturi can beat the Death Eaters any old time.

Death Eaters, there's no question there, they don't sparkle, they are all capable of the 3 unforgivable curses, and will kill without a second thought.

They will kill your baby and feed to the next member.

the death eaters are innately evil. they do bad things. there is no good in the meaning behind these things. the volturi aren't evil, per se. they are powerful, but they are working to maintain the secrecy of the vampire world. they have no appreciation for human life, but they are not in an evil frame of mind from what they know. saying the volturi are evil is like saying an animal is evil for eating other animals when it is their only for of sustenance.
