Lindsay LohanOver the weekend, troubled actress Lindsay Lohan admitted to failing her drug test, and now, the results may hinder her chances of playing Linda Lovelace in the upcoming movie 'Inferno.'

According to PopEater, 'Inferno' producers are waiting to see how Judge Elden Fox rules in Lindsay Lohan's case. Although reports claimed producer Chris Hanley was "beyond irritable" and ready to replace Lohan, he's hopeful the actress will get it together before filming begins in New Orleans on Nov. 15.

"We are way not happy to not be making this movie this year as planned, and if the ability to shoot in a film incentive program state is not available due to travel limitation placed on Lindsay, that would be a concern, but that cannot be addressed until it is known," Hanley tells PEOPLE.

'Inferno' director Matt Wilder shot down rumors that filmmakers are angry with Lohan. "Did this throw us for a U-turn? Sure," he says. "But no one has conveyed any pissiness about it."

"Let's see what the judge says," he told the LA Times, via e-mail.

The 24-year-old actress took to Twitter over the weekend to confess she failed her latest court-ordered drug test.

"Substance abuse is a disease, which unfortunately doesn't go away over night. I am working hard to overcome it and am taking positive steps ... forward every day. I am testing every single day and doing what I must do to prevent any mishaps in the future," she wrote.

According to the terms of Lohan's probation, a failed drug test means she is looking at another 30 days in jail.

A source close to the family told PopEater's Rob Shuter, "If anyone around Lindsay was in denial, that has all changed now ... People suffering from addiction need constant help and not everyone around Lindsay admitted she had a problem. She was staying out late in L.A. as soon as she left rehab and while in New York this past Saturday night, she was seen out at The Boom Boom Room with a horde of girls until 2:15AM."
