Six Second Reviews: 'The American'

This was the worst movie I have ever seen in my life. My friend said I am not allowed to select movies we see anymore. Our only solace came from reading reviews afterwards and howling at some of the comments. One person said their wife will never go to the movies again after seeing this...holy cow, that's serious. boring, bad acting, slowwwwww, plotless, and the only movie where the star dies at the end and the audience is glad because it meant the movie was over.

Wish I had read these reviews before sitting through the movie and almost falling asleep 3-4 times. And after all that, still did not understand the end, like what was all that about??

Avoid at all costs. It was one of the worst most boring movies I've ever seen. No plot, mediocre acting, and boring scenes. Save your money!

I don't entirely disagree with you. Many of the people in the screening I was in felt the same way. Many others though (including me) felt the slow-burning tension, visuals and inde style was refreshing given all the recent big CGI heavy action movies. It certainly isn't the movie being advertised though. Thanks for the comments!

Easily one of the worst movies in the past 10 years.
Viewers were on the "edge of their seats" getting ready to walk out!
All 20 or so people in the theater came out with the same comments such as "the worst", "was this a movie" "we should all write Clooney for a refund plus damages"

Worst Movie I have seen in years - Silent Movie - No action - Boring

This movie probably didn't have more than 50 words spoken in 2 hours, no drama just watching GC look around for bad guys. Worst silent movie ever. There is nothing to recommend this movie!!
