Scott Spiegel, who produced both of Roth's Hostel entries, is taking over writing and directing duties this time around (Roth is not involved beyond having written the original characters), which will see the torture club story leave the Eastern bloc and head Stateside to Las Vegas, Nevada. The plot concerns a bachelor party that gets a little too out of control when paid for murder comes into play. A number of actors who will all appear in the film have been named, though some of their roles are still up in the air (hint: if they're a young, attractive face, they're probably not the ones doing the torturing).
So far we've got Kip Pardue (The Wizard of Gore), Brian Hallisay (Bones), Sarah Habel (who was very funny in the "Steve Gutteberg's Birthday" episode of Party Down), John Hensley (Nip/Tuck), Skyler Stone (that annoying jackass), Chris Coy (True Blood) and Thomas Kretschmann (Wanted).
It may be a while before we see anything from the film, but it shouldn't be too long before principal photography is completed.
