I hadn't thought about Shrooms, Paddy Breathnach's not-very-good flick about teens who get killed when they go off into the woods of Ireland to trip, in months, but I happened to be talking about it the other day with a buddy. So, if you're wondering why Shrooms 2 is suddenly being announced, you have our summoning it back into the universe to thank.

The details are pretty slim at this point, we just know that Vertigo Films has given the green to A Night in the Woods and Shrooms 2. Richard Parry will be directing the former, but it's unclear at this point whether or not Breathnach will be back for the sequel to his own film.

And since that's really all we know right now, I'd just like to take this time to share a clip of the best part of Shrooms. If you've seen the movie, you'll know exactly what I'm talking about.
