Futureworld (1976) is the sequel to Michael Crichton's Westworld (1973). Despite Crichton's lack of involvement with the sequel, I find it to have the more interesting premise: Westworld was essentially just a robots run amok story, but Futureworld involved the cloning and replacement of global leaders with the end goal of promoting a more peaceful world. The film also features a brief cameo by Yul Brynner as he reprises his Gunslinger character from Westworld. It was his final film.
