On the heels of its recent acceptance into the Toronto After Dark film festival, filmmaker Joshua Grannell has released a brief clip of some girl getting jumped by a bunch of gothy weirdos. The clip comes from his upcoming flick All About Evil. "A mousy librarian inherits her father's beloved but failing old movie house. In order to save the family business she discovers her inner serial killer - and a legion of rabid gore fans - when she starts turning out a series of grisly shorts. What her fans don't realize yet is that the murders in the movies are all too real."
That premise sounds interesting enough, but the clip itself doesn't inspire a lot of confidence. I realize that it's a twisted comedy and that I can't really judge from the trailer and a brief clip, but . . . eh, I'll watch it just to see Cassandra Peterson. Check the clip out just past the break.
