You remember Lost, right? The show about the people on the island with the smoke monster that ended with mystical caves and people not knowing anything? Yeah! The one that ended a few months ago after a six year run. That one. Yep. The one with the fat guy and the doctor who always looks like he's going to cry.

Do you remember the announcement that there would be additional footage on the DVD release that will act as an epilogue to the series, tying up loose ends? Well, the first tease has ended up online and the first image is right above this very text you're reading right now. What you see is...

Ahem. It's been months already, but I'm a nice guy so beware of potential SPOILERS... What you see is Ben, now working under new Island God Hurley, wearing a Dharma jumpsuit and doing something with some confused looking Dharma folk. What is he doing? Why is he doing it? Why do we care? What exactly is the smoke monster? What's in the yellow cave? What's with the-

What, exactly, is the plot of this epilogue? How long is it? Will it actually answer lingering questions or will it continue to dodge them under the pretext of mystery? All we have is a quote from Ben Linus himself, the incredibly talented Michael Emerson:

"Ben is going around to Dharma installations and closing some down. There are some good surprises...It does answer questions."

I've already given my thoughts on the final episode of Lost
, so I won't go into too much detail, but it irks me to no end that the creators of the show have to create bonus content to address things that should have been a part of the show's narrative. Although I was not nearly as harsh on the finale as many other fans were, this reeks of lazy storytelling.

Although I'm enough of a Lost slut to admit that I would watch every episode of a show following the newly immortal Hurley and Ben as they gallavant across the universe.
