
Variety is a little scant on the specifics, but they've got news that Warner Brothers has just bought World War X, a script from newcomer Colin Trevorrow. The always-fun Joel Silver will be producing under his Silver Pictures banner. As for what WWX is about, Variety says it revolves around a man who is recruited to special government team tasked to stop a future terrorist who is using time travel to alter the course of history.
Yep, time-travelling terrorists. I dig it.
Since that's really all we know at this point, I figured I might as well spread more time travel love and share Hirsute, a funny-little short that I first saw at last year's Fantastic Fest.
