Between the non-stop panels and parties on Thursday and Friday, those who make it through Saturday without crashing out in the lap of some random Stormtrooper should be commended for successfully surviving what is one of the most hectic events of the year. Sundance, Cannes, SXSW, Tribeca, Toronto -- none of them come close to the insanity that is San Diego Comic Con. But fans will want to save up their Vitamin C and energy drinks for Saturday because July 24th will be one of the biggest days of the year -- not only for fans, but for the studios who have invested so much in these big comic book/superhero franchises.I'll make this easy on you:
- Warner Bros. is bringing The Green Lantern, Sucker Punch and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
- Overture is bringing Let Me In, the much-hyped remake of Let the Right One In.
- Universal is bringing Paul and Cowboys & Aliens
- Marvel Studios is bringing Thor and Captain America: The First Avenger. Marvel also hopes to use this opportunity to introduce the cast of The Avengers.
Stay tuned to Cinematical for more Comic Con coverage than you'll know what to do with (I'd throw it in a bowl and make a soup, but it's your call). Check out the full schedules for all four days over on their official website.
