Moviefone Movie Club: 'The Twilight Saga: Eclipse'

Breathe easy, Twi-hards! The Twilight Saga: Eclipse has been released and according to the numbers, we're guessing most of you have already seen it several times. And the buzz around the movie is actually really good -- Richard Roeper even called it "one of the most astonishing upgrades in movie franchise history."

Does 'Eclipse' live up to the expectations of its most dedicated fans? Is it really the best of the three 'Twilight' movies so far? Movie Club Editors Andie Taylor and Alicia Roda are joined by Laura Byrne-Cristiano of the mega-popular Twilight fan site Twilight Lexicon and Myriam Gabriel-Pollock, Moviefone's own 'Twilight' Superfan, to discuss their thoughts on 'The Twilight Saga: Eclipse' -- including the love triangle, the action, the soundtrack, the entire 'Twilight' phenomenon and more. The movie was to short it should have been at least 3hours long . I under sand
that you have to shorten it to cut the drible but there was a lot of seens that should have been left in it to make sence of it to people that have not seen the movie . please dont reck it like they did harry potter keep it real.

I think that New Moon was the best over all three movies. Eclipse was good I loved the action but I could have went for more romance. Some of the romantic scenes weren't quite so believable I don't think all the kissing really described the emotion. I also think that the director changed a lot of scenes that happened in the book. The whole point of seeing the movie was because it was gonna be somewhat like the book, but if the movie was tweaked just a little bit more it really wouldn't have been Twilight. I think that the director who filmed new moon did a better job and that this movie was more for the action and lacked a lot of emotion. The book was way better than the movie, I'm sorry to say I was a bit disappointed with the movie. It was not what I expected.

i loved the movie and all the twlight series but the ending of the movie bothered me because is there going to be another twlight movie or is the ending going to be left open like that i wanted to see bella and edward get married and there is just so much that was left open for questions i guess the big one is will there be another twlight movie and book or not

I did not care for Eclipse. It was boring compared to the other 2 before it. In the other movie I thought Jasper was suppose to be a newborn and that is why he was harder to control when Bella was cut and bleeding. But in Eclipse he had turned back in the civil war. Did anyone else catch this?

I realy enjoyed Eclipse - my favorite of the 3 but I also enjoyed the other 2 - one thing I did notice was at the very end of the movie when Edward and Bella were in the field with the sun shining brightly - Edward didn't sparkler. Maybe just an oversight..but a pretty big one! Loved the quips between Edward and Jacob - a don't miss! :)

I liked New Moon as much as Eclipse. I wish they would have did a little more with Jaspers and Roses backgrounds and also with the trib listening to the storie it could have been a little longer.

Worst movie of the series. A lot of the most important parts of the book were either left out of skimmed over. The acting left a lot to be desired also. Most of the cast acted like they were just reading their lines, not getting into character. And the makeup was poor also. Very disappointed in the movie and I am a big fan.
