The Circle of Life continues -- in 3-D. Empire Online reports that the now-classic 'The Lion King,' Disney's 1994 animated take on Shakespeare's 'Hamlet,' is set to for a re-release -- and an upgrade to 3-D. Producer Don Hahn revealed that he'll begin overseeing the conversion in the next few weeks.
Hahn also revealed another exciting project in the works in the world of animation -- the long-awaited sequel to 1988's 'Who Framed Roger Rabbit' looks to finally be happening.
"Yeah, I couldn't possibly comment," says Hahn. "I deny completely, but yeah ... if you're a fan, pretty soon you're going to be very, very, very happy."

Both 'The Lion King' and 'Who Framed Roger Rabbit' were enormous hits, with the former earning more than $783 million in worldwide box office (and spawning a highly successful Broadway adaptation) and the latter bringing in more than $329 million, worldwide.
Meanwhile, Don Hahn is overseeing pre-production in London on Tim Burton's next film, 'Frankenweenie,' an expansion of the director's 1984 short film that kick-started his career.
