We knew it was coming. Even if there's not enough actual cinematic meat in Stephenie Meyer's book for two films, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn will be broken up into a pair of features. Bill Condon will be directing both, all of the cast finally got their contracts settled, and production will begin this fall, with the first film still slated to hit theaters on November 18, 2011. There's no word on when the second half will screen.

I'll get to the big question in a minute, but before the spoilers hit -- travel over to Collider if you're itching for a bunch of official stills, old clips, and a couple of new ones for the current installment, Eclipse (namely Bella meeting the pissy Leah Clearwater). And as a side note: Can someone please tell me why Seth is practically invisible in all the press for this flick!? I don't get it...

But enough of Eclipse. Back to Breaking Dawn and plot details...

The big question now is how they will split it up ... at what point in the insanity known as Breaking Dawn will the first film come to an end? My best guess is that the first half will focus on lots of "Edward, you're so beautiful!" squee moments as the wedding is planned, the wedding/honeymoon will be the mid-point, with Bella now drooling over the rest of Edward's body, and then we watch her deteriorate as her vamp baby sucks the life out of her. It'll end with the birth of Renesmee, and then the vampire Bella reveal will be saved for Part Two as Bella frolics as a bloodsucker until the Volturi come to call and the Cullens have to call on a huge army to help protect the wee half-bloodsucker.

Sorry, Twi-nots there's at least two more years of vamp madness on the way.
