The always classy Rondo Hatton Awards board announced their winners and congrats are in order to some well-deserved award recipients. The Rondos are presented by the Classic Horror Film Board to honor the top works in horror films, television, home videos, and publishing. This year's email vote drew a record 2,973 votes for the awards named after an obscure B-movie villain of the 1940's.
The fans have spoken and Rondos were issued to familiar names like Rue Morgue (Best Magazine), Dread Central (Best Website) and District 9 (Best Film of 2009). It was great to see the talented Rue Morgue Art Director Gary Pullin -- aka Ghoulish Gary -- be recognized for his monster-licious creations, which you can check out on his website or Etsy store (I love the praying hands series!). There are a few names on the winners list that are new to me and I look forward to checking out their work. Congrats to all the nominees as well!
You can check out the full winner's list after the jump. Let us know if your top picks made it!
