In 'The Crazies', as a killer man-made virus begins to turn the residents of Ogden Marsh, Iowa into violent psychopaths, sheriff David Dutton (Timothy Olyphant) tries to make sense of the situation while he, his wife (Radha Mitchell), and two other unaffected townspeople band together in a fight for survival. If they don't get killed trying, that is.

Scary, at times gross, and very apocalyptic, 'The Crazies' reminds us of Romero zombie classics, except the infected are much faster and much more eager to kill.

Also starring Joe Anderson, Danielle Panabaker, and Christie Lynn Smith.
