Vanessa Redgrave, who was recently honored with BAFTA's Fellowship award, has signed on to play Queen Elizabeth in Roland Emmerich's 'Anonymous.' Emmerich confirmed the casting in a new interview, in which he described the film as a "mix of a lot of things," including a "historical thriller" about the power struggle over who will succeed Queen Elizabeth.
