Last week, we brought you the official DVD release date for The Descent Part 2--the highly anticipated follow up to Neil Marshall's classic "women trapped in an underground cave with hideous monsters" flick from a few years back. Lionsgate revealed that the disc would be hitting retailers on April 27th--and bypassing theaters completely.Today we've got an update (thanks to our friends at Fangoria), which highlights what we can expect in terms of bonus materials to go along with the feature. It's not an Earth-shattering list of supplements, but fans should be pleased.

If that doesn't get you excited, maybe news that the film will be presented in 16x9 widescreen and with Dolby Digital 5.1 sound will. I know I'm giddy just thinking about it.
The disc is set to retail for $28.98, but I'm guessing you'll be able to score a copy for way less if you should be so inclined. Expect a full review later this spring.
