'Hugo' would mark Scorsese's first foray into children's literature and would make him the latest high-profile director to take on the genre, following recent projects by Spike Jonze ('Where the Wild Things Are') and Wes Anderson ('Fantastic Mr. Fox'). 'Hugo' would also reunite him with his 'Departed' producer, Oscar winner Graham King, and his 'Aviator' screenwriter, John Logan.
Martin Scorsese was presented with the honorary Cecil B. DeMille Award at the Golden Globes earlier this week and is preparing to unveil his HBO series, 'Boardwalk Empire,' later this year. His latest collaboration with Leonardo DiCaprio, the thriller 'Shutter Island,' opens on February 19th. Check out the trailer below.
