Matt Damon and Brad Pitt will reportedly reteam for the animated 3D sequel 'Happy Feet 2.' Sources say the duo, who appeared together in the 'Ocean's Eleven' franchise, will join original cast members Robin Williams and Elijah Wood in the movie, set to hit theaters Nov. 28, 2011. 'Sherlock Holmes' villain Mark Strong is reportedly in talks to play another bad guy -- this time, in Warner Bros.' 'Green Lantern,' opposite Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively. Strong is up for the role of Sinestro, Hal Jordan's (Reynolds) old mentor who gets banished for abusing the power of the Green Lantern. Directed by Martin Campbell, 'Green Lantern' is scheduled for a Jun. 17, 2011 release. [Variety]
Clark Gregg has joined the cast of 'Thor.' In it, he will reprise the role of Agent Coulson -- the same character he plays in 'Iron Man 2,' in theaters May 7. Gregg joins an already star-studded cast that includes Anthony Hopkins, Natalie Portman and Samuel L. Jackson. Oscar nominee Kenneth Branagh will helm the project. [Variety]
Tatum O'Neal has joined the indie drama 'Mr. Sophistication.' The Oscar-winning actress ('Paper Moon' ) will reportedly play wife and business partner to Harry Lennix's character, a down-and-out comedian who beats a drug addition for one last shot at fame. In the meantime, O'Neal will also appear in the upcoming movie 'The Runaways,' opposite Kristen Stewart, which premieres Sunday at the Sundance Film Festival. [Hollywood Reporter]
