Here' something even more horrifying than pulling Scotch tape outta C-3PO's groin. Apparently a young and possibly drug-addled George Lucas OK'd an ungodly '70s Star Wars disco boogie starring an army of dancing C-3POs and some very, very shameful-looking Darth Vaders.
The French, being French and all, decided this was great fodder for nighttime TV and promptly put it on the air.
There's a reason disco wasn't around in a galaxy far, far away, and this is it.
