In 'The Bounty Hunter', rom-com queen Jennifer Aniston is on the run from the law ... and her ex. Aniston plays Cassidy Daley, who after skipping a court date, crosses paths with her ex-husband Milo (Gerard Butler), a cop-turned-bounty hunter charged with the enviable task (or so he thinks) of bringing his ex-wife to justice. From there on, hilarity ensues, as they say: Cassidy winds up in the trunk of Milo's car, Milo winds up in his own handcuffs, and Cassidy tries everything -- crying, seduction and (when that doesn't work) crotch-punching and a well-timed taser -- to get out of his grips. But as Milo learns more and more about what's behind Cassidy's behavior, the two try to work together to ensure her safety. Watch the trailer after the jump.

From the looks of the trailer, it seems like standard Aniston rom-com fare. But director Andy Tennant ('Hitch') has surrounded his leads with some reliable comedic talent, like 'Curb Your Enthusiasm''s Jeff Garlin as Milo's concerned best friend, and 'Saturday Night Live''s Jason Sudeikis, who makes a mysterious, mustachioed appearance as someone who confronts Aniston in a restroom.
But other than 'Marley & Me', the majority of Aniston's recent comedies ('Love Happens,' 'He's Just Not That Into You,' "Management') have seen diminishing returns. Will her role here as a fugitive be a return to form, or is it time for Aniston to put these kinds of movies behind bars?
| Yes. Anything from "the director of 'Hitch'". | |

| Aniston as a sexy fugitive? Sign me up, but not until the DVD comes out. | |
| Never. I prefer my Gerard Bulter angry, screaming, and in a loin cloth. |
